Vasant Panchami is celebrated to honour Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom, art and learning. The festival holds cultural, religious and
social significance as it symbolizes the rejuvenation of nature and the beginning of new beginnings. The students of Lucknow Public School sought the blessings of the Goddess in a Special Assembly where they enacted saraswati vandana in honour of the goddess. Flowers were offered to the deity and prasad disbursed to all students, teachers and staff of the school. The occasion emphasized the value of lifelong learning and pursuit of knowledge and inspired students to work hard persistently in their education.
Lucknow Public School, Sector-I bid Farewell to the outgoing students of class XII. Filled with curiosity and zeal , the farewell function was organized on 6thFeburary,2024 in the school campus. The function commenced with the Teeka Ceremony’ followed by the Welcome Speech. The music group sang melodious heart touching song which was thoroughly enjoyed by the momentum of the day. A humorous Skit –Class Room was presented by the students of class XI- to entertain their seniors. The outgoing batch of 2024 set the stage on fire by showcasing great style through a Ramp Walk- for the most coveted Titles which were awarded as Mr. LPS Aaroosh Dutta and Ms. LPS Chhavi Saxena. Different Titles were announced which were quite thrilling like – Mr.Debonair, Ms.Elegance, Ms.Silent Queen, Mr. Computer Maestro, Mr. Style Icon and Ms.Style Icon etc. The Head Girl and the Head Boy expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the alma mater. All the students relished the farewell refreshment as the day came to an emotional close . The mementoes were presented to all the outgoing students by the XI class students. The function came to an end with the touching speech of the Principal expecting the success of the students in each and every sphere of life.
Republic Day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950 and the declaration of our nation as a sovereign state and a republic. It was celebrated in the true spirit of nationalism by Lucknow Public School, Sector I branch with the students and teachers alike expressing heartfelt gratitude to the makers of our constitution and the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The Honorable Principal Ma’am unfurled the tricolor followed by the singing of the national anthem to mark the beginning of the celebration. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm with the students singing songs, giving dance performances and speeches as a mark of respect to our great nation. The programme concluded with an address by the Honorable Principal Ma’am who reminded the students of their duties towards the nation both as students and future citizens of the country.

Kalakriti Mela (Annual Fete cum Art and Craft Exhibition) held at Lucknow Public School, Sector-I on 14thJanuary, 2024 was a vibrant showcase of creativity and talent, bringing together students, teachers, and parents to celebrate the artistic endeavours of the school community. The exhibition featured a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, handicrafts, working models and other creative expressions. The students of Lucknow Public School organized a festive Christmas program, spreading joy and warmth throughout the campus. The program featured enchanting carols by the Junior Wing followed by a lively dance performance of the Primary Wing. A fun trip for students to Amrapali Amusement Park was organized for students of classes IX-XII on a cozy, but warm & bright day of December. It gave an experience of everlasting joy being surrounded by beauty of nature and the fun rides. Students started in the morning with a feeling of a great day ahead enjoying, playing games & dancing with their friends. In their excitement they kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue. The bright sunny day was full of fun and frolic for all.Students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed, it was a great day for all the students and teachers as it strengthened the bond between them. It was a sound and safe return of the trip in the evening.
Constitution Day celebration at Lucknow Public School Sector -I was a vibrant and proud affair. The special assembly began with the Morning Prayer, followed by the pledge. Our Constitution is not merely a legal manuscript; it is a testament to the vision of our forefathers who envisioned a democratic and just society. Its words echo the aspirations of a nation striving for freedom, equality, and justice for all. The fundamental rights were read out loud for the students to understand and know their rights. A dance performance on the preamble song enthralled the school courtyard. The assembly concluded with National Anthem.
Lucknow Public School, Sector I organized a fun filled celebration to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The celebration commenced with a Volley Ball Match between teachers and students, hailing the students as winners. The programme had a series of more interesting and exciting events for complete entertainment. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy. Students were embarked on an exhilarating adventure that challenged their wit, teamwork and sense of discovery with the much anticipated,
Treasure Hunt game. The celebratory mood continued with the
ever-entertaining games of Musical Chairs & Guess the Tune.
Teachers of the primary and junior section then enthralled the audience with their energetic and graceful moves in their dance performance. The students heartily enjoyed the games;Bursting the Balloons and Chinese Whisper. However, they were pulsated with excitement when the teachers of
senior wing presented a ‘Medley Song’. Distribution of refreshments was a complete treat for all. The culmination of the programme was the
icing on the cake for the students, as they enjoyed winning prizes and playing Tambola. The Principal, Ms. Surabhi Sharma, then addressed the students and wished them success for all their future endeavours. The students thoroughly reminisced their childhood days and had a memorable time.
Lucknow Public School, Sector-I,Lucknow celebrated Diwali with gaiety and fervor on 10th November,2023.Diwali is the festival of lights and people celebrate it with immense joy and enthusiasm .It symbolizes the return of lord Rama after fourteen years of exile and victory over Ravana. The day was marked by a special assemble to inculcate all the virtues and rich cultural heritage among students. The special assembly comprised of speech, song, action song and a dance highlighting the message of spreading, love, happiness and caring and sharing amongst people.Also, the students of Lucknow Public School, Sector-I brought some goodies like chips, biscuits,
cakes, fruits, chocolate etc to be distributed to underprivileged children’s to make their Diwali special. Sharing your joy with these deprived children is a great source of happiness and can double your celebration this festive season.
Dussehra celebration in India represents the victory of good over evil. The term Dussehra is broken into two components, "Dus" which means 'ten' and "Hara" which means 'defeat'.
It is celebrated in schools also with great fervor, grandeur and display. The students of Primary section of Lucknow Public School, Sector-I participated in the celebration with a great zeal. They portrayed the story of 'Ramayana' through a musical play which acquainted the students with Indian mythology and also the fundamental tenet-triumph of virtue over evil.

As part of the campaign for Swachh Bharat-Swachhta Pakhwada, Lucknow Public School organized various activities to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and the on-going cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan".
Various activities like Awareness Rally for cleanliness, Poster Making on 'Say No to Plastic', Distribution of Hygiene Kit to the underprivileged children of nearby colony were conducted. Moreover, Paper Bags were distributed to the vendors making them aware of hazardous impact of polythene on the environment, thereby creating mass awareness. Enabling to take this mission of cleanliness to the community, Swachhta Shapath was also taken by students where they promised to adopt safe and hygienic practices to keep the surrounding clean.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Cleanliness Drive is a call for action to each and every citizen to take responsibility for their surroundings and LPS, Sector I proved to be instrumental in promoting the same.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan rally was taken out by the students of PRIMARY WING in order to create awareness among the people regarding the importance of clean nation. They took a round around the school locality holding flash cards with slogans related to Swachh Bharat like "Green India, Clean India" and "A clean nation is a proud nation". They also gave the handouts to the people of the society to create awareness for the cleanliness of the nation.
Cleanliness campaign is not only about keeping the surroundings clean but also about bringing greenery all around and creating a garbage-free environment with the participation of citizens. Keeping this objective in mind, the students of the primary wing have presented a street play to bring awareness of keeping the society green and clean.
Gandhi Jayanti is a National festival celebrated with a spirit of patriotism and nationalism. Throughout India, it is celebrated with great fervor in remembrance of the principles of the leader of India’s freedom movement, Mahatma Gandhi. The celebration is quite exciting in schools and colleges.
The day was celebrated with great zeal in Lucknow Public School Sector I also the students of primary section conducted a special assembly where, the choir highlighted the sacrifice of Mahatma Gandhi through a patriotic song. The students of class I &II gave their performance on the teachings and principles of Mahatma Gandhi in the form of action dance. The students of class KG depicted the movements conducted by him like Dandi March, Non Co-operation Movement and Bharat Chhodo Andolan. The Assembly ended with National Anthem. The Teachers also showed their spirit of nationalism through their Songs. The Principal addressed the teachers and commemorated the birth of the two great leader’s i.e Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Lucknow Public School Sector I enthusiastically celebrated World Tourism Day on 27th September 2023,promoting the spirit of global exploration and cultural awareness. Students of classes VI and VII participated in clay modeling activities where they sculpted iconic landmarks from around the world. This activity allowed them to learn about famous tourist destinations and hone their artistic skills. Class VIII students engaged in collage making, creating vibrant and visual representations of various countries, their cultures, and landmarks. This activity encouraged research and artistic expression while highlighting the diversity of our world. To encourage a technical spirit in
our students a power point presentation by the junior section was planned in which students participated enthusiastically, the theme of power point presentation was “Tourism and Green Investment’s” , students made wonderful and informative slides related to the topic. The celebration
fostered a sense of curiosity and appreciation for different cultures and destinations among our students.
World Ozone Day is celebrated on 16 September each year to commemorate the signing of the Montreal Protocol, an international environmental treaty for phasing out production and consumption of Ozone Depleting Substances that came into force on this day in 1987. The day was celebrated with a Special Assembly at Lucknow Public School Sector I in which students of class IX A displayed boundless enthusiasm to raise awareness among students on this burning topic. They performed a Nukkad Natak, dance with an energetic song and heart rending speeches highlighting the urgency of the issue. The whole school was motivated and determined to conserve and safeguard the ozone layer. The Assembly concluded with the precious words of wisdom of the Honourable Principal of the school Ms Surabhi Sharma who asked the students to give a thought to their duties towards the planet and the students took a solemn vow to look after the roof of the earth.
"Hindi saptah "was celebrated by Lucknow Public School,Sector I with great zeal and gusto from 6/9/23 to 14/ 9/23. The students of different wings of the school participated with a lot of enthusiasm to celebrate the occasion. A number of events and competitions were organized in the Morning Assembly and in the Library during this week long celebration. The celebration began with a ‘Kavi Sammelan’ in which students of Class X recited poetry of different genres. A ‘ Nukkad Natak ‘and ‘Musical Drama ‘was organized by the students of Classes IX and XI along with an inter house debate and poetry recitation competition for students of classes XI and XII. Classroom activities like ‘Slogan Writing’ and ‘Advertisement Writing’ were conducted for students of classes IX and X. A Powerful Poetry Reading marked the end of the celebrations. Many activities were also done in junior wing during the Hindi Saptah like special Assemblies, Puppet show ,Quiz etc. The winners of the various events were motivated in a Prize Distribution Ceremony.
Hindi Diwas is a day to give Hindi its due recognition all over India. It is celebrated to spread the simplicity of this language all over the world.
In Lucknow Public School, Hindi Saptah was held to promote the Hindi language. Various activities were organized to spread awareness among the students.
In Pre-primary-Swar Vyanjan race and Matra ki Race was organized.
Inter class Hindi recitation competition was organized on the theme Nature for classes I and II.
Special Assemblies were held for classes III to V the entire week were the students recited the poem on importance of Hindi and the beauty of morning.
The student also enacted a play. There was story telling through puppets. There was Inter House Quiz competition based on Hindi grammar. There was a class activity of written Hindi Quiz too where the worksheets were given to the students to solve right from class Nursery to V. The students participated eagerly and their enthusiasm was praiseworthy .The week ended with great success.
The Aryabhata Ganit Challenge is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education to assess the ability of students in the application of mathematics. The first level of the challenge was conducted for the students of class VIII - X on 4th September, 2023 at Lucknow Public School, Sector I and students participated with a lot of interest and enthusiasm in it. They were amazed to know in how many different ways the principles of mathematics can be applied in real life. It was not just a challenge but a great learning experience for them. Top three students of Level-1 are eligible for National Level Competition to be conducted by CBSEon 3rd October, 2023.

INEXT –Danik Jagran organizes Bikeathon every year in all INEXT cities, Its main aim is to encourage consciousness for fitness amongst the masses through the environment friendly activity. This year it was organized in Lucknow on 10/9/23, students from Lucknow Public School participated enthusiastically. It started from K.D.Singh Stadium all the way to 1090 crossroads and coming back to K.D.Singh Babu Stadium covering approximately 10 K.M, it was a Healthy exercise appreciated by all. Never the less a healthy outside starts from inside.
Show and Tell Activity gives children an opportunity to stand up in front of their friends and speak about the items shown by them. It builds confidence and helps children develop effective communication. Keeping this in mind on 30th September, 2023, this activity was organised in pre primary section based
on the theme Household Utility Items where the students spoke about the item shown by them.
The Sanskrit Divas celebration on 30th August 2023 by the junior wing of Lucknow Public School, Sector - I included a special assembly where students recited shlokas and verses from Sanskrit literature. The event aimed to promote the rich heritage of the language and its cultural significance. Students showcased their linguistic skills and understanding of Sanskrit through various performances and presentations during the assembly. The celebration highlighted the importance of preserving and propagating Sanskrit in modern times.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of 'The Father of Indian Sports' Major Dhyanchand, National Sports Day is celebrated in India every year. Lucknow Public School, Sector I organized a special assembly on 29th August, 2023 to pay a heartfelt tribute to Major Dhyanchand and inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship among the students.
The assembly was conducted by the Student Council of the school with much fervour and enthusiasm. Students enlightened the audience with a speech on 'National Sports Day' and 'Life and Achievements of Major Dhyanchand'. Moreover, famous sports personalities like Major Dhyanchand, Sachin Tendulkar, Milkha Singh, P.V Sindhu and Neeraj Chopra were enacted and presented well before the audience along with giving a brief insight into their lifetime achievements. The assembly ground was filled with curiosity and enthusiasm when the school head girl Chhavi Saxena conducted the Quiz and the students eagerly responded to the questions asked. Last but not the least, the school Principal, Ms Surabhi Sharma and Vice Principal, Mr Sachin Malik applauded the winners of Inter-Branch Table Tennis Tournament and awarded them with medals and certificates. The assembly came to an end with the enlightening words of principal ma'am who motivated the students to explore their forte and work harder to achieve them.
The Raksha Bandhan celebration at Lucknow Public Sector I was a vibrant and engaging event. Students participated in various activities to commemorate the special bond between siblings. A letter-writing activity allowed sisters to express their feelings and gratitude towards their brothers. The invitation card making activity encouraged creativity as student’s crafted beautiful cards to invite their brothers to the celebration. The gift wrapping activity was a delightful way to teach students the art of presentation and attention to detail. Overall, the Raksha Bandhan celebration fostered a sense of unity and love among the students.

The dawn of 23rd August, 2023 was like no other day for each & every Indian as the much awaited mission of Chandrayaan -3 was about to be fulfilled. As a matter of pride and motivation, Lucknow Public School organized the screening of the long-cherished dream fulfilment of the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on lunar south pole at C.P Singh Memorial Auditorium, Lucknow Public School, Sector I.
To grace the auspicious occasion, Respected Manager Sir and distinguished guests Mr Kunal Silku IAS, an alumni of LPS and Mr Mukesh Kumar Singh, Deputy Director & Senior Advisor, Department of Education were present to witness the breathtaking view of India's Chandrayaan setting records along with 600 students of different branches.
YES! Indeed, it was an astounding view as not only India but the universe rejoiced the spectacular view where Indian scientists once again proved that everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done! Earlier we felt “Chanda Mama door ke” but today, we can proudly say that moon is not far away as we experienced the magical union of the Chandrayaan 3 & moon’s surface at 6:04 pm.
Chandrayaan-3 aimed at the lunar South Pole, a region with water ice, or frozen water that could be a source of oxygen, fuel and water for future moon missions or a more permanent moon colony. Mr. Narendra Modi congratulated everyone and said that ISRO is writing "a new chapter in India's space odyssey" and elevating "the dreams and ambitions of every Indian."
The student fraternity was truly grateful to the school management for giving them the once in a lifetime opportunity. Indians can proudly declare " Never say the Sky is the Limit When there are Footprints of the Indians even on the Moon ".

Independence Day celebrations at Lucknow Public School sector -I was a vibrant and patriotic affair .The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Principal, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem by all students and teachers.
The school courtyard was adorned with tricolor decorations, showcasing the spirit of freedom. Students from different grades participated in a variety of cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances, and Fancy Dress that portrayed the struggles and sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
The day culminated with a heartfelt tribute to the nation's freedom fighters and a pledge by students to contribute positively to the country's progress. The celebration not only evoked a sense of patriotism but also fostered a deeper understanding of the sacrifices that led to our freedom.

To make our students understand the feeling of love, devotion, and a sense of attachment to one's country Lucknow Public School Sector-I ,Junior Wing conducted various activities for *Classes VI,VII and VIII on 14th August 2023 to inspire and value the independence. In which the students have shown their feeling of patriotism in the form of Tricolor butterfly, Tricolor flower and Tricolor Badges. Children should be educated to understand that freedom was not given it was earned. Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth.
Augmentation means involving modified techniques to improve efficiency. In order to achieve efficiency in teaching and learning method by involving students in enhancing creativity and emphasize on practical learning, Augmentation Day was organized by LPS Sector I primary wing on 12th August 2023. In the pre- primary section, the students recited poems and rhymes on the theme of Patriotism. They were also given various worksheets to colour on the same theme. Various subject related activities were organized by the teachers of all classes. The activities for classes I & II were Flag Making Activity, Aerobics, Clothes and Season Activity and Mathematical Operations Race. For class III activities like Lucky dip for Adjectives, Fractional Hopscotch, Sangya ki Sawari and Animal Kingdom were organized whereas for classes IV and V activities like Pronoun Flower, Geometrical Yoga, Plant Kingdom, Hands on Soil, Guess the word, Our Neighborhood and Visheshan Mera Saathi were organized. All the activities were incorporated to empower the students and to enlighten their minds, they participated enthusiastically in all the activities.
The National Librarian’s Day is celebrated on 12th august on the birth anniversary of Padmashri Dr. S.R.Ranganathan, the father of Library Science in India.
Lucknow Public School Sector –I also celebrated this auspicious day with full fervour. Various activities were organised in the library for each wing, Primary Wing-Read Aloud Activity, Junior Wing-Paper Bag Activity –in which students wrote the jist of their favourite book with illustrations.
Senior Wing students Wrote Slogans, Book Reviews, Star Collage and Sketches related to the library.

Investiture ceremony is an important occasion where a school entrusts its upcoming leaders with certain roles and responsibilities. Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of being responsible and caring at the same time. It was a proud moment for all as Lucknow Public School, Sector I, Lucknow held its Investiture Ceremony on August 12, 2023.On this auspicious day, the school's Student Council is formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection which gives them a feel of functioning of an official administrative student body in the school. The selected students were honoured with their respective badges & titles. Aroosh Datta and Chhavi Saxena of Class XII A were honoured with the title of Head Boy & Head Girl of the school respectively. The Student Council members consisted of Head Boy, Head Girl, Discipline Incharges, Sports Captain & Vice Captain, Student Coordinators, Activity Coordinator and House Captains, Vice Captains & Prefects. They took an oath to faithfully work in the best interest of the school.During the Investiture ceremony, newly appointed prefectorial board marched proudly onto the stage. The oath for the student council members was administered by Mr. Vijendra Singh. It was a moment of great honour for the students who vowed to wear the mantle of Prefecture with a solemn sense of duty and uprightness.The Principal, Ms Surabhi Sharma and Vice Principal, Mr Sachin Malik graced the occasion with their presence.She congratulated the team and reminded them that with position, comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers. She advised them to be role models for their peers and the juniors.Students, sitting in audience cheered for their batch mates and showered them with best wishes for their future endeavors.

To take a short glimpse on the same and to make the students aware about its Lucknow Public School organized a quiz –Quest Enigma on 10/08/23 to provide a platform to the students to explore a nation which is a land of spiritually and have a glorified history. Seven branches of LPS participated in the competition in preliminary round (phase -I), in which four were selected for the Phase –II round and the results were-Ahiyaraipur Raibareilly stood First, LPS –Sector I grab the second position, LPS Unnao stood Third and consolation to LPS Sector D. The Quiz completion was a great success and definitely it will have encouraged students to participate in more such competition in future.

In honour of their beloved teachers, senior wing students of Lucknow Public School, Sector I organized a special assembly on 4th September, 2023.
The assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer followed by pledge and a special thought of the day for the teachers. Ishita Pandey of class X A, then enlightened the audience with her much enthusiastic speech on 'The value and importance of teachers'. Next in the queue was a wonderful song prepared by VI to VIII students to pay a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, in whose memory teacher's day is celebrated every year.
Subsequently, Agreema and Pragya of class XII A expressed their gratitude towards the teachers by reciting a Hindi poetry and making the air quite emotional. However, Ishita Singh, the Activity Coordinator, then came up with the funniest stand up comedy to brighten the faces and fill the atmosphere with laughter. The stand up comedy was then followed by an old Bollywood medley with an acoustic touch of guitar to take the teachers down the memory lane.
Last but not the least, Ishita conducted the game 'Guess the Teacher' with the students present there by giving them clues about them. Ultimately, the last game involved the teachers where they were shown various props and they had to sing songs related to it. Teachers showed their enthusiastic participation.
Akshita of class X was a wonderful host throughout. The assembly winded up with the encouraging and motivating words of our principal ma'am. The wonderful day ended with a hope of growing the positivity, mentorship and guidance today, tomorrow and forever.
Music binds our souls, heart and emotions, it is the best medium of communication, in fact it is a medium where one can express their feelings. To promote singing talent in school a competition Vocal Velocity was organized at Lucknow Public School on 10/08/2023.Participants sang the songs with lot of passion, confidence and patriotic feelings. The melodious songs pulled the heart strings of the audience. Every participant had good command on voice modulation, rhythm and tone. LPS Unnao Stood First, LPS South city came second and third was Sector- D, Sector- F Jankipuram got consolation prize. The Children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and confidence and appreciated by all for their wonderful performance.
Investiture ceremony is an important occasion where a school entrusts its upcoming leaders with certain rules and responsibilities. Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to the children is important as it teaches them life skills. Keeping this in mind, Investiture Ceremony was organised in the primary section of Lucknow Public School, Sector-I. It was indeed a proud moment for the students. The newly elected office bearers were given badges and sashes by the headmistress and their respective house incharges. The newly elected members then took the oath to uphold and uplift the school dignity. The headmistress congratulated the office bearers and the programme ended with the National Anthem.
"WATER IS LIFE, AND CONSERVATION IS THE FUTURE"
Water Conservation is basically saving humanity and it is the responsibility of every person to save water. To promote the same, at Lucknow Public School, Sector I, students of class I were taken out for a Water Conservation Rally with an aim to create awareness about the importance of saving water and the need of its conservation.
The students participated eagerly and raised slogans for the same.
Badminton is a much-admired sport which requires strength, endurance, as well as mental capabilities leading to self-discipline and healthy lifestyle. To provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their skills & inculcate into them spirit of sportsmanship, Lucknow Public School organized an Inter-Branch Badminton Championship on 29th & 30th July at Shri C.P Singh Memorial Auditorium. The entire LPS family consisting of nine branches participated enthusiastically for the primary, junior & senior category. The match began with a lot of enthusiasm displayed not only by the players but also by the spectators. The result of tournament is as follows:
LPS, Sec I branch bagged winners title followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D branch in the Junior Category for Boys. While on the other hand, LPS, Sec D branch emerged as a winner followed by LPS, Jankipuram and LPS, Sec I in the Junior Category for Girls. LPS, Raebareli won the match followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D in the Senior Category for Boys. However, LPS, Raebareli retained the first position again for the Senior Category for Girls followed by LPS, Eldeco & LPS, Jankipuram respectively. The certificates were presented to all the winners & the tournament was quite a learning experience for all the participating teams. The fun-filled day was a true treat to the eyes of all Badminton fans present there.
Mango Party was organised for the students of classes Nursery and KG in LPS, Sector I, with an aim to make the students aware of the fruit Mango, its taste, smell, types and the dishes made out of it.
The students of Nursery and K.G. were dressed in yellow and they brought dishes made from mango (Mango shake, Aam Panna, Aam Papad, Frooti), spoke about them and enjoyed on the rhymes based on mango in the class.

To add fuel to fire of patriotism burning inside all of us and to supplement inspiration in our students Lucknow Public School Sector-I Branch, Junior wing has celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas to remember and salute these brave soldiers for their courage, heroism, and unwavering dedication. The students have enthusiastically showcased their talent with vibrant tricolor patterns while writing slogans, also delivered speech to enlighten all about their predominant duties towards the nation . Later followed by a patriotic song, in the special morning assembly.

In India, Van Mahotsav is celebrated every year in the first week of July. It aims to promote the conservation and protection of forests and to create awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and ensuring environmental stability. To fulfill the objective for a better tomorrow, at Lucknow Public School, Sector-I, a special assembly was conducted on the first day which comprised of speech, a shloka and a song. In Class I and II a colouring activity associating with their academics was held. Kavi sammelan- Pedon ki Kahani, Pashuon ki Zubani was also conducted in a special assembly. In Class V students participated in the poster making activity, in Class IV a quiz was organized whereas the students of Class III were taken for a plantation drive. Students of the junior section were excited on the very first day while planting the saplings in the school premises. For the next day, an article writing activity on the topic -Environmental Consciousness -Our Efforts Count was organized and students shared their views in the form of informative articles. A Poster Making Activity was planned for the next day in which students of the junior section showcased their views with the colorful and candid posters. Students explored their technological endeavors through Power Point Presentations on the Topic - Conservation of Forests. Senior section of the school celebrated this event by organizing Slogan Writing Competition for the Classes IX & X on "Cut the greed, not the green" & Poem Writing Competition for the classes XI & XII on the theme "Faith plants the seed, love makes it grow" expressing the importance of planting trees and their socio-economic effects. Students also highlighted several hazardous problems or issues created by deforestation and pledged to safeguard the Mother Nature through their actions. Around 50 students from IX - XII participated in the completions and their will to change was clearly seen as always said, “Its better late than never!”. There is no perfect timing to do anything. It’s you who makes the present timing perfect and implement things.
The International Yoga Day is celebrated across the world annually on 21st June to promote good mental and physical health. It also aims to develop a meditation habit for peace of mind and teach self awareness ,keeping the objective in mind, International Yoga Day was celebrated with full fervor in Lucknow Public School ,Sector –I Special Assembly was held clearly highlighting the importance of yoga and the theme of this year is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” meaning –one earth, one future ,one family. Not only the students but also the teachers participated enthusiastically and performed various yogasanas .

Fathers are like pillars for us and to appreciate their unwavering support and encouragement, we honor them and celebrate Father’s Day. This year we celebrated Father’s Day on 18th June, 2023. To express gratitude for fathers, various activities were planned for the Junior Section. Class VI students designed card with beautiful messages for their fathers to thank them for their guidance. Class VII students made a photo frame with a beautiful quote. Students’ participation was praiseworthy. Class VIII students participated in the activity-Cooking without Fire .They showed their gratitude by preparing delicious dishes for their fathers. It was indeed a wonderful event to thank their fathers for their love and encouragement. It is truly said that dads are the most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers and storytellers so we made them feel that we are proud of them.
Father’s Day, an annual celebration honoring fathers and father figures, is celebrated on June 18th. It serves as a reminder to acknowledge the countless sacrifices, love and support that fathers provide from working long hours to ensure a comfortable life for their families, to being a constant pillar of strength and guidance, Father’s Day play an invaluable role in shaping our lives. The students of Lucknow public school, sector –I, performed various activities to acknowledge their fathers like- students of nursery and kg decorated cookies and server it to their fathers for breakfast, students of classes I and II decorated mugs, students of class III made key chains for their fathers.

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5thJune,2023 to encourage awareness and action for the protection of the environment. Trees are the lungs of the world and students of LPS, Sec- I Idealized the importance of greenery in day to day life.
To make the students understand the worth of earth and treat it with care, various activities were designed for Junior Section.
Class VI and VIII students made planters using waste materials and decorated them beautifully using vibrant colours. Class VII students made bird feeders using waste material. The principal of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) was implemented. It was a day full of fun for the students.
Every year, World Environment Day is observed on 5th June. This day is celebrated to encourage awareness and environmental protection. This year’s theme is focused on solutions to plastic pollution under the campaign- beat plastic pollution, keeping the objective in mind, the students of Lucknow public school, Sector - I participated eagerly in the various online events like- students of nursery and kg planted a sapling with the help of their parents near their surroundings. The students of class-I made skipping ropes using plastic bags whereas class ii- made a photo frame using waste material. The students of class -iii celebrated the day by participating in designing a paper envelope. The students of class IV made paper bags. The students of class v made paper folders.
Augmentation is a process that makes something great.
In order to encourage and engage students in creativity augmentation day was organised by Lucknow Public School Sector-I , Junior Wing on 25th march ,2023. Various activities like wall decoration, soft board decoration, art, craft and yoga activities were incorporated to ignite the creative minds of the students. Students exhibited their ideas enthusiastically.
To highlight the importance and to celebrate WORLD WATER DAY on 22nd March 2023 an Inter Class Poster Making and Slogan Writing Activity was organized at Lucknow Public School Sector-I .The theme for the activity for Class VI- Conservation Of Water-Poster Making, Class VII-Earth Without Water, Class VIII-Save Water-Slogan Writing. The activity enforced a sense of responsibility towards the conservation of water the message was proclaimed loud and clear that water is the elixir of life and must be wisely used.
Readiness programme 2023-2024 for pre-primary was started from 20/03/2023 at LPS sec-I with special welcome of tiny tots by the teachers on their first day to school, and continued till 31/03/2023 ,various activities like- Bindi pasting, paper tearing and pasting, play dough, swing fun, school tour, palm impression wall ,kick the letter cup big and small, hopscotch etc were included ,the basic motive was to develop motor skills, boosting their creativity stimulating their imagination and co-ordination.
Swachhata means cleanliness, it is an initiative taken of different activities for Swachha Bharat mission, keeping this in mind LPS sector –I celebrated this with great enthusiasm and zeal by organising various activities like-Nukkad Natak, rallies and many activities were done inside the school to make students aware by the importance of this drive.
Primary Wing Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Lucknow Public school Sector I .It was an occasion when students and teachers came together .It was a day of winning or losing .The excitement and enthusiasm was clearly visible in everyone's eyes.Students prepared various drills and races for the event.It was conducted on the school playground.Various dances were performed by Primary section but butterfly race was the most entertaining show. The event concluded with great fun and frolic.
Vasant Panchami is an occasion which marks the advent of the spring season and is also celebrated to worship goddess Saraswati. This day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in LPS sector-I. The pooja started with Saraswati Vandana and prasad was distributed to all. everyone enjoyed the day and enlightened by the blessings of maa Saraswati.
Christmas is a long-awaited event for the students as it brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad tidings. To spread the message of love and good cheer LPS sector I presented a spectacular assembly on 25th December 2022. The celebration was held on a beautifully decorated stage .All the students and teachers were very excited .The ceremony began with a prayer .A group of Class V students presented a beautiful play on the theme of Christmas. A vibrant group sang a carol in beautiful costumes that delighted the audience. After that a student disguised as Santa Claus gave presents to the children .The song ‘Jingle Bell ‘was played in the playground adding mirth to the atmosphere.
The Principal wished everyone a Happy Christmas and the day ended with bright smile. All in all it was a fascinating ,incredible an awesome Christmas celebration.
Lucknow Public School, Sector- I celebrated Annual Day on 4th December,2022. This prestigious institution completed its Silver Jubilee this year. The occasion was graced by Dr .Nitin Bharti, from King George Medical College .The cultural event was set rolling by the blessings of the goddess of knowledge through the Saraswati Vandana dance. The programmes were wonderfully presented. The breath stealing journey culminated with a spectacular dance ,paying homage to motherland. This programme was a great success.
School Picnic is somewhat special. LPS organised a picnic for the students to have the pleasure of a short journey with friends to Janeshwar Mishra Park. The school organized a picnic for Class III to XII. Great enthusiasm could be seen among students as they reached the spot .The lush green fields seemed to be the right place for the students to enjoy. The students interacted with each other sensibly and shared their eatables among themselves .They played games, danced ,sang songs and kept themselves busy the whole day. It was a great experience for them.
Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Guru Purab is celebrated to mark the anniversary of the first Sikh guru who played an important role in shaping and strengthening their community .He was one of the greatest religious innovators of all times. This day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. A skit was presented by Primary students and later Kada Prasad was distributed among them. The students enjoyed this event and the delicious halwa.
